Passed in November 2015 by the European authorities with a clearly defined timetable, the new R58-03 regulations governing rear protection on industrial vehicles require the installation of R58-03 certified underrun bars for all new vehicle registrations starting on 1 September 2021.
New régulation R58-03 main changes:
- Test forces doubled
- Modification of the positioning constraints with respect to the rear of the vehicle
- Modifcation of the positioning constraints with respect to the ground
- Modification of the section height of the crossbar of the device (some exceptions)
